The honest answer
The straight answer on safety — no hand-waving.
Short answer
Human safety data is limited. In the research that exists, the effects most often noted were mild and at the injection site. Because it isn't FDA-approved and long-term human data is thin, safety is a conversation for a licensed physician who has evaluated you — not something to decide off a post.
Preclinical (animal and lab) studies have generally reported low toxicity, but that is not the same as established human safety. Limited human observation means long-term risk isn't well characterized.
A clinician can weigh your history, medications and the specific situation, and tell you when NOT to do something — which is exactly the judgment a webpage can't provide.
Straight answers
